Jalene Kanani Bell serves as the President and Creative Director of her eponymous company, Jalene Kanani Inc. With a rich background in the arts, she first discovered her passion for creative expression through hula at the tender age of three. Over the years, she showcased her talent as a hula dancer in various prestigious settings, becoming a well-known figure in Hawaii's cultural scene.

Having grown up in an environment that valued creativity, Jalene drew inspiration from her mother's Hawaiian fashion business, Wailani Originals: Hula Girl Creations. This early exposure to design laid the foundation for her future endeavors in the industry. Driven by a desire to marry her artistic sensibilities with business acumen, she pursued a degree in Political Science and later ventured into the corporate world, specializing in furniture, flooring, and equipment supply.

Jalene's career took a pivotal turn when she ventured into textile design, collaborating with leading manufacturers and establishing herself as a prominent designer in the field. Her innovative approach to creating vibrant and culturally-rich patterns caught the attention of international companies such as Duralee and Durkan, solidifying her reputation as a forward-thinker in the world of textiles.

In 2008, Jalene founded Jalene Kanani Inc., focusing on designing commercial carpeting and flooring under the ProSPEC contract fabric line. Her expertise and passion for tribal motifs soon led her to diversify into home goods, exploring untouched segments of Hawaii's interior design market with her distinct aesthetic.

With the launch of NOHO HOME in 2018, Jalene introduced a line of bedding featuring her signature patterns, marking a new chapter in her success story. As she continues to push boundaries and innovate in the realm of home decor, Jalene Kanani Bell's journey as a trailblazer in the industry is poised for remarkable growth and evolution.
